Hyoyeon Reveals She No Longer Has a Crush

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon made a surprise confession that she has given up on the male idol she had a crush on.

On September 13th, Hyoyeon guest starred on the SBS variety show “Strong Heart”, where she surprised everyone in the studio by revealing, “I said that there was a male idol that I secretly liked the last time I was here, but I don’t anymore.”  Hyoyeon continued, “I confidently confessed with an innocent intent, but that person somehow figured out it was him.  After that, his actions changed.  My ideal type shattered.  [He's] not it anymore.”

She went on revealing that she went on a blind date arranged by a friend.  She honestly stated, “My meeting with him was spine-tingling.”  Hyoyeon recalled that day adding, “The two of us went to eat spicy sausage stew once.  I couldn’t tell how fast the time had gone by.  I then got a call from my manager, telling me to return because of a schedule.”

Hyoyeon and her blind date decided to go for a walk in the park.  She caused laughter in the studio by revealing, “I was confused that so many people could recognize me when I had a hat pressed down on my head.  It turned out I still had the apron on from the restaurant.”

When Kang Hodong asked, “Are you still in contact with that person?” Hyoyeon replied, “I couldn’t contact him after the apron incident.”

Back As Nine For 'Coway' Charity Event

As previously reported, Woongjin Coway held it’s charity auction at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo today, and all NINE members of SNSD were in attendance – That’s right folks, Sooyoungie’s back!

The girls’ were there to showcase items, which they intend to auction off for charity, the majority of which appear in SNSD’s Coway CF’s, including those featured in this particular advertisement:



By auctioning off costumes and props utilized by the girls in their CF’s, Woongjin Coway hopes that the “Beautiful Auction” will help raise funds for disadvantaged women in Korea.

 

With Sooyoung back, the girls’ were looking very bright and cheery, and all for a good cause.

In keeping with their promise of revealing daily content for Girls’ Generation’s third full album, The Boys, SM Entertainment have today revealed teaser images of the trifecta that is Jessica, Sooyoung and Tiffany!

At this stage, it is becoming more and more likely that the ongoing speculation regarding a fairytale concept may actually be reality.

Having seen Taeyeon’s Snow White, Sunny’s Red Riding Hood, Hyoyeon’s Thumbelina, and now Sooyoung’s Rapunzel, Jessica’s Swan Princess and Tiffany’s Mermaid – inspired characters; it is safe to assume that Yoona, Yuri and Seohyun will follow suit, quite possibly as the rumored characters of Beauty, Red Shoes and Snow Queen respectively.
There is however, still uncertainty over why some of the images have a Renaissance era look and feel to them, whilst others are going for a more contemporary/electro look. Maybe the rumored time travelling aspect is not so far from the truth either? Only time will tell, so look forward to what SM will reveal tomorrow and in the coming days.
On that note, SM has also revealed that the girls’ are expected to make their first comeback performance on KBS ‘Music Bank’ on October the 7th.

First Script Reading Held for Yoona’s New Drama “Love Rain”

The first script reading was held for director Yoon Sukho and writer Oh Sooyeon’s new drama “Love Rain”. The main actors and actresses Jang Geunsuk, Yoona from Girls’ Generation, Kim Sihoo, Son Eunseo, Hwang Bora, and Seo Inguk, were chosen recently and were all present at the script reading.
Director Yoon Sukho, writer Oh Sooyeon, as well as all of the actors and actresses were present at Yoon’s Club, the production company behind “Love Rain”, for the first script reading. Director Yoon Sukho did not miss a single thing and led the reading with detailed directing. Jang Geunsuk, Yoona, and the other actors acted as if they were actually filming.
Yoona stated, “It was a bit burdensome that the two of us have such conflicting personalities (Editor’s note: Yoona is referring to herself and Jang Geunsuk’s characters), but after working with the director, writer, and other actors, I feel a little more confident. I will do my best with a learning heart.”
The casting of Jang Geunsuk, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona, and Kim Sihoo increased fans’ anticipation. “Love Rain” will start filming in September and is scheduled to air at the beginning of 2012

The Comeback Enigma

So…
Everybody still reeling from the latest comeback news and Taeyeon’s teaser picture?
It took about 5-hours of spazzing and a cold shower for me to return to some form of normality, however I’m still flustered by it all – THE GIRLS’ ARE COMING BACK and it’s going to be nothing but excitement and anticipation from here on out!

Yes, SM Entertainment have officially kicked themselves into gear, and with the promise of more comeback teasers and updates over the next 9 days, SONEs are going to have a ball feeding their Soshi addiction.
The funny thing is, is that whilst we were patiently impatiently waiting for concrete information from SME, ever since the comeback was hinted at back in August; the SONE and greater K-pop community have been busy trying to crack the “comeback” code with, dare I say, nothing but speculation and rumor. Yet this whole time, the girls’ themselves have been playing us, teasing us, as they do, dropping us hints about their comeback in the most vague ways possible.
Take these “riddles” for what you will:

SM Confirms Sooyoung’s Return for October Comeback

On the 26^th of September, a representative of SM revealed over the phone with reporters that Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung would be returning with the rest of Girls’ Generation for their comeback scheduled on the 5^th of October. The representative said that, “Fortunately, Sooyoung will be able to join the girls for their comeback. She had a very strong will and determination to rejoin the girls. However, we will still continue to constantly monitor her condition during their promotions.”

In order to quicken the duration of her recovery, Sooyoung was absent for the SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO concerts, and it looks like her decision has paid off as she will be able to perform on stage once again. Sooyoung is currently rehearsing for their comeback together with the rest of Girls’ Generation, but she is ensuring that she does not overwork herself.

The representative on the phone ended off by saying, “Sooyoung is making sure that she does not strain herself during rehearsals, and she is also getting occasional checkups. They will be focusing on their practice sessions so that they can create the best stage possible during their comeback.”so....after her accident injuries..she is back in with the soshi girls and performing with them for their comeback...
